The team has a blend of expertise in financial services, payment systems and technology, financial inclusion, greenfield initiatives, and international development in developed and emerging markets.

Our Team

Khurram's work in digital financial services (DFS) and payments spans over 20 years in diverse regions, including North America, Middle East, East Africa, and South and East Asia. He has led digital banking businesses, established national payment companies, advised central banks on digital payment strategies and oversight, and built strategic multi-industry partnerships to expand access to finance. He has also managed globally-dispersed teams and led business development and execution of projects ranging from USD 100,000 to 10 million. 


Khurram’s depth and breadth of experience provides him an acute understanding of the design and operationalization of commercially-oriented and inclusive DFS and payment strategies, business models, products and services. Leveraging this experience, he advises clients in both the public and private sectors on digital transformation, business expansion and growth strategies. Khurram has a B.Sc in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from the University of Texas.


Khurram Sikander

Tricia has over 12 years of experience in digital financial services (DFS), digital payments, and financial inclusion. She has worked across 21 different markets globally as an advisor to regulators, government agencies, multilateral and bilateral organizations, banks, payment services providers, and other financial system actors to leverage digital technologies for more inclusive economies.


With a background in international finance, economics, and development, Tricia applies her experience to promote data- and market-driven solutions that accelerate growth at both institutional and macroeconomic levels. Engaging with actors across the DFS ecosystem and relevant sectors such as agriculture and humanitarian assistance, she is skilled at leading market and institutional assessments; undertaking quantitative and qualitative research; and designing and implementing DFS strategies and business models. Tricia has an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a B.S. from Georgetown University.

Christopher has over 10 years of experience in education, technology and the development finance sector with experience working in North and South America, Europe, West Africa and Southeast Asia. His professional experience has seen him in a variety of operational and analytic roles working in academia, NGOs, international governments and in the private sector. He has worked closely with MFIs, national banks, cooperatives and small business owners to promote financial inclusion initiatives in the developing world.

Possessing a strong background in business, economics and international development, Christopher has conducted quantitative and qualitative research as well as data collection field work trips focused on humanitarian aid, financial inclusion and economic and social development. He applies his strengths in project coordination, data analysis and research to develop results-driven project plans and theoretical models. Christopher has an M.A. from the International Institute of Social Studies in Development Studies with a focus on Economics and a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California – Irvine.
